Resolved Question
How to close half of my position in metatrader?
Hi
Sometimes it is said that when your trade hits the first target, close half of your position and let the other half continues towards the second target. If I enter a trade in metatrader platform with 5 lots for example, how can I close 2.5 lots when the trade hits the first target?

Using your example, if you are long 5 lots EUR/USD you can sell at market 2.5 lots when your first target is hit. If you are short on EUR/USD 5 lots, you can buy at market 2.5 lots when your first target is hit.
If you find this uncomfortable, what you can do is just open up two positions with 2.5 lots each with different profit targets! Happy Trading.
